WARNING: D'Adamo's "Eat Right 4 Your Type" brings up some good points, but some of his claims are invalid (type O's may be vegetarian, despite D'Adamos claims to the contray, and Hot Spices are CAUSTIC and cause cankar sores, even in type O (they are on the list, but WATCH OUT)). IODINE & THYROID
Type O MUST HAVE IODINE The RDA for Iodine is 150mcg. The ODI (Optimum Daily Intake as per Dr Shari Liebermans "The Real Vitamin & Mineral Book") is 150 to 300 mcg (unless you use Iodized Salt or Eat Seaweed, in which case the ODI is 0 to 150 mcg). 1,000 mcg is considered Safe and that is what I get (a blood type O). Overdose (as per Dr Lieberman) 20,000 mcg or (25XRDA = 4,000 mcg as per another source) can also cause "Goiter".
