Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Rails Against Biden's Climate Plan
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ljScVG0nF4

OCASIO was a Bernie supporter (me too) and this was recorded before Biden won the democratic nomination. Even though I am a strong Liberal, I do not like Biden; he is habitually hostile, angry, threatening, and his voice patterns are Loony Tune, not a good choice. America is in deep stuff, between Biden and the Republican Platform (and Trumps NYC manners, I tell New Yorkers, you can talk like that in NYC, but not any place else). Deep Stuff.

I am all for Matriarchal Leadership, less chance of violence and inequality.

RIGHTS OR PRIVILEGES?
I learned in college Speech class to add ETHOS or credibility to my presentations, in this case LINKS, QUOTES = PROOF, some people just spout off and didn't do their homework. Such as the people who say Health Care is a Privilege, not a Right, did not do their homework
UDHR Article 25.
(1) Everyone has the RIGHT to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
(2) Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.

UDHR Article 2. Everyone is entitled to all the RIGHTS and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.. (every US President signs it, since 1948, and any US Senator or US Rep who is not familiar with UDHR does not deserve their job)

People who came here years ago when they were children, learned our language, studied in our schools, became our friends, and worked along side us, were already granted presidential amnesty? You don't retract another Presidents granted amnesty, it also offends having to stand trial again for the same crime after being granted amnesty. I would like our guests, to feel as welcome here, as I would like to feel in their country. I was stranded in Mexico as a child and was treated with respect and kindness. The migrants trying to enter the USA from Juarez to El Paso, should be treated with respect. They are not criminals, they are just seeking to enter the USA. Yea or Nay. PLEASE WRITE your US Representative and US Senator(s) requesting the children be watched over by Female Matrons Only, so they wont be molested. And require a lie detector test for males who have already guarded the children, asking if they molested the children? If they did they should receive dishonorable discharge, loss of veterans status, and jail time. This appears to obviously be, a handout to favored perverts within the military, subject to investigation. WRITE YOUR US House Rep and Senator(s) ballotpedia.org/Who_represents_me

* It is my personal opinion, that everyone should be entitled to a Medical Marijuana Rx card, one should not have to be suffering as a requirement. It's healthy for you, and "an ounce of prevention, is worth a pound of cure". My State of NV is now Legal for All as it should be, but I still retain and renew my legal Rx state card, as it means that much to me, and it does.

You are born unto this world and should be entitled to Satisfaction.

Look at the smiles on Harry and Megan's faces? Have you ever seen people so happy? This first caught my eye reading the Yahoo News, just the smiles, then I laughed, they are in Canada, its legal in Canada. Their smiles are not as happy wrapping it up in England, but they will be back to Canada (meanwhile they have Amsterdam).

A Cruel and Unusual Record
By JIMMY CARTER JUNE 24, 2012 Atlanta - NY Times article online. about violations against UDHR
www.un.org/en/universal-declaration-human-rights/index.html

"THE United States is abandoning its role as the global champion of human rights.

Revelations that top officials are targeting people to be assassinated abroad, including American citizens, are only the most recent, disturbing proof of how far our nation's violation of human rights has extended. This development began after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and has been sanctioned and escalated by bipartisan executive and legislative actions, without dissent from the general public. As a result, our country can no longer speak with moral authority on these critical issues.

While the country has made mistakes in the past, the widespread abuse of human rights over the last decade has been a dramatic change from the past. With leadership from the United States, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted in 1948 as 'the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.' This was a bold and clear commitment that power would no longer serve as a cover to oppress or injure people, and it established equal rights of all people to life, liberty, security of person, equal protection of the law and freedom from torture, arbitrary detention or forced exile.

The declaration has been invoked by human rights activists and the international community to replace most of the world's dictatorships with democracies and to promote the rule of law in domestic and global affairs. It is disturbing that, instead of strengthening these principles, our government's counterterrorism policies are now clearly violating at least 10 of the declaration's 30 articles, including the prohibition against 'cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.'

Recent legislation has made legal the president's right to detain a person indefinitely on suspicion of affiliation with terrorist organizations or 'associated forces,' a broad, vague power that can be abused without meaningful oversight from the courts or Congress (the law is currently being blocked by a federal judge). This law violates the right to freedom of expression and to be presumed innocent until proved guilty, two other rights enshrined in the declaration.

In addition to American citizens' being targeted for assassination or indefinite detention, recent laws have canceled the restraints in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 to allow unprecedented violations of our rights to privacy through warrantless wiretapping and government mining of our electronic communications. Popular state laws permit detaining individuals because of their appearance, where they worship or with whom they associate.

Meanwhile, the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, now houses 169 prisoners. About half have been cleared for release, yet have little prospect of ever obtaining their freedom. American authorities have revealed that, in order to obtain confessions, some of the few being tried (only in military courts) have been tortured by waterboarding more than 100 times or intimidated with semiautomatic weapons, power drills or threats to sexually assault their mothers. Astoundingly, these facts cannot be used as a defense by the accused, because the government claims they occurred under the cover of 'national security.' Most of the other prisoners have no prospect of ever being charged or tried either.

At a time when popular revolutions are sweeping the globe, the United States should be strengthening, not weakening, basic rules of law and principles of justice enumerated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. But instead of making the world safer, America's violation of international human rights abets our enemies and alienates our friends.

As concerned citizens, we must persuade Washington to reverse course and regain moral leadership according to international human rights norms that we had officially adopted as our own and cherished throughout the years."

Jimmy Carter, the 39th president, is the founder of the Carter Center and the recipient of the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize.

Eliminating the Health Insurance Industry and going to 100% Direct Federal Coverage would be much cheaper for everyone in the long run, and would provide more coverage and less denial. The Health Insurance Industry is large, profitable, takes vacations, gets bonuses, and employs many people based on "blood sucking" your coverage money for their leisure lives. They can get a new career. You should be entitled to being medically repaired, you should be entitled to a 2nd or 3rd or 4th opinion, and should be able to select your doctor and hospital.....

How can YOU have Rights? unless Animals have Rights? You are an Animal too. Around 5 million years ago, some of our ancestors went swimming, for what turned out to be millions of years; and like Whales and Dolphins, we developed "Aquatic Mammal Characteristics", less body hair, a larger head, an extra layer of fat for buoyancy and temperature control, a recessed voice box making speech capeable, in water a while and our fingers wrinkle to get a better grip in the water, the rest of the body does not wrinkle; and humans instinctively swim at birth. In 1928, scientists discovered the descendents, of those we left behind 5 million years ago, those who stayed on land. They are still living on the equator in Africa today, 10,000 of them. Genetically they are 98.7% the same DNA as us. http://www.archure.net/eu .
